Today this lady came with her baby. He's a beautiful and smiley 6 1/2 months old. So I am saying good bye to the baby and the next customer says hi and I am still looking at the baby. It took a couple of seconds for me to get out of cute baby mode. She asks for a razor blade. I gave her a razor blade. she asks if that is not dangerous to use like that. I ask what is she using it for, she says is to clean the floor. I gave her one with the handle and start looking for another that is more comfortable. She asks how to use it. I swear I got blank for a second. I start saying that is almost self explanatory by looking at it and try to point out the difference between both, but she cut me saying that I'm too aggressive. WHAT?!?!?! First of all, she was mad that I was a little, ok maybe more than a little distracted with the baby. But really?
I love my job. Is not perfect but is always interesting...
